Environmental Design has come to mean many things. In this context we mean it to be most connected to Sustainable Design Practices, and technologies. It also pertains to urban planning issues that we experience in today's growing number of Designed Infill Projects and mix of Commercial and Residential Projects, this is also a focus of our practice and has been for the last ten years.

We consider site-specific qualities associated with the ecology, and the microclimate of your particular site. For example: we study the paths of the sun through out the day and seasons, before we suggest where a skylight may go in a kitchen. Or where a window will be placed in a bedroom, how it will be protected from direct sun or emit natural light. These issues can effect how energy efficient a building or room maybe, and also affects the quality of light as well as its spiritual aesthetic properties.
